Finlay - Sockenmystery by Wollklabauter

Finlay - Sockenmystery by Wollklabauter, von baba64_ch

Design: Wollklabauter / Monika Eckert
Kategorie / category: Socken / socks
Form / shape: von oben nach unten / top-down

Anleitung / pattern: Finlay
meine Projektdetails / my details: ravel.me/Baba64/f2
Ravelry-Gruppe / group on Ravelry for this Mystery/KAL

Nadelstärke / needle size: 2.5 mm
Garnemfpehlung / suggested yarn: Sockenwolle / sockyarn
Wolle / yarn: www.WollWunderWelt.de / grau
Verbrauch / yardage: 80g = 336 m / approx. 370 yd
Grösse / size: 39/40

A mystery KAL for socks by Monika Eckert. Appears in 2 parts. I'm knitting both socks at the same time with one circular needle.
Highlights of these socks are:
the right and the left one are different. Outside you will find an filigran and ornamental pattern built with cables (mostly cables formed with 2 sts). Inside of the socks a little pattern with ktbl stitches.
Clue 2 solved the question about the heel. Moni constructed a sock with well feeling effect - no seams are to feel, and the pattern embeds the foot in a good fit. Also the soft yarn from WollWunderWelt is wellness for the feet ;-)

In clue 1 we began with increases for the heel - no idea what kind of heel construction will follow - I'm very curioulsy about the next and last clue.

Bettfinken / socks for bed "Robin Food"

These socks I'm using for bed or for the couch I found several years ago on a blog and today I refound the pattern on Ravelry for these "Robin Food" socks; designed by Astrid Schramm.

Froschkonzert - Swingsocke/sock swing-knitting

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

This sock I testknitted more than 1 year ago for the book from Heidrun Liegmann-Halama (the creator of the new knitting Technic "swing-knitting". This book is a part of several ideas of "knitting-the-swing LIGHT" - the author give the positions of the needles for obtaining the swinging patterns.

Sorry - I didn't find a book link in English - so I'm posting the pattern links to Ravelry for English spoken knitters.

here you'll find several english patterns of knitting-the-swing - at the moment the most patterns are only in German - but patterns will follow in English, too.
